Ho, July 17, GNA - The chiefs and queens of Dzodze Traditional area in the Ketu North Constituency of the Volta region have honoured Dr Archibald Yao Letsa, Volta Regional Minister for spearheading "rapid socioeconomic development" of the Region.
Togbe Dey III, Chief of Dzodze Fiagbedu, on behalf of the traditional area, said the recently held Regional Town Hall Meeting, which exhibited numerous development projects was evident of good and effective administrative work done by the Minister.
He commended the regional Minister for among others, efforts at bringing relative peace to Nkonya and Alavanyo, and the harmonious working relationship that existed between his administration and traditional rulers.
“What is missing in our body politics is the fact that we are not quick as people to praise our leaders when they perform with excellence”, Togbe Dey said, during a courtesy call on the Minister by chiefs and queens of the Traditional at his residence in Ho.
A citation and a Kente cloth were presented to the Minister in recognition of his meritorious services to the region.
