SOME OLD STUDENTS OF KETA SENIOR HIGH TECHNICAL SCHOOL IN THE US AND NORTH AMERICA HAS DONATED 90 COMPUTERS TO THE SCHOOL TO ENHANCE TEACHING AND LEARNING MOST ESPECIALLY IN IMPROVING STUDENTS ICT SKILLS

#EwesNews • Some Old students of Keta Senior High Technical School in the US and North America  has donated 90 computers to the school to enhance  teaching and learning most especially in  improving  students ICT skills. The event which was graced by very high profiled old Dzolalians on the 16th of June 2022 was held at the schoolpremises at 2pm.

Among some of the very high profiled personalities were Agbotadua Kumasah a respected Kingmaker of the Anlo stool who was also chair of the occasion, Togbi Kpemini Gawu V,a representative of the  governing board of ketasco, Mr. Issac Dzidzienyo the Head Master, Dr. Kodzo Gbewonyo the Guest of Honour, Rev. Gilbert Gomeke, Professor John Dogbe a representative of North America Alumni and some Officers from the Keta Municipal Education Directorate.

Professor John Dogbe, the representativie of  the North America Alumni chapter in his speech at the event said, the reason for the donation was to bring the currents students up to speed with the advancement of modern technology and  to enable the students update their skills learning through ICT. He reminisced that, at his time whilst at Ketasco ICT was basically non-existent and shared his admiration of how far technology has brought the world.

He also encouraged the students to visit the center frequently so as to  develop themselves and that a great level of care must also be given to the gadgets, so it enures to their benefit and those to come after them . Mr. Dogbe also promised that more donations should be expected from the North America Alumnus.

Dr. Kodzo Gbewonyo  an old student and a member of the North America Alumni also admonished  students to make good use of the opportunity given to them so that they can become useful citizens. He commended his colleague Alumni after which he shared some fun and interesting moments they shared whilst they were student of Ketasco.

The Headmaster Mr. Issac Dzizdienyo assured that the computers will be put in good use also shared his appreciation for the great donation from the Alumni.
Agbotadua Kumasah, the Chairman of the occasion also expressed his joy at the gesture by the Alumni.
