FAMOUS TRADITIONALIST, PROFESSOR TORGBUI AMUZU OF KEDZIKOPE- KETA ACCEPTS CHRIST

FAMOUS TRADITIONALIST, PROFESSOR TORGBUI AMUZU OF KEDZIKOPE ACCEPTS CHRIST; Sets Ablaze His Magical Powers at Gbetsele near Michel Camp
A renowned spiritual scientist, traditionalist and herbalist from Kedzikope, a suburb of Keta in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region has burnt his idols and magical powers and turned to Christ for salvation and direction. The destruction of the items of Professor Torgbui Amuzu was carried out on Saturday in front of his Gbetsele residence near Michel Camp in the Ashaiman Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.
The event which was witnessed by a number of residents within the Gbetsele community was executed by a six-member team of selected Pastors and Evangelists led by Apostle Paul Asare Agbebo, Founder and Head Pastor of the Living Word Teaching Ministry at Ashaiman Roman Down.

Prayers, songs of praise, words of exhortation and some anointing service preceded the supervised burning of the idols, magical powers and their related regalia. Some of the items were earlier destroyed by Professor Torgbui Amuzu himself in preparation towards this latest final exercise.
As part of the ceremony, Professor Torgbui Amuzu was baptized in the Atlantic Ocean around the Sakumono beach in Accra under the new name, Prophet Paul Amuzu in fulfilment of the prophetic vision that came with Torgbui Amuzu's conviction to turn to the Lord after twenty seven (27) years of practising such careers in the traditional, spiritual and herbal space of the country.
Speaking to journalists in an interview after the event, Apostle Paul Asare Agbebo noted that the decision by Professor Torgbui Amuzu to accept Christ and also use His Kingdom to serve and save mankind was not only in the right direction but also a prophetic dream come true.

He described Torgbui Amuzu as a humble, loving and caring as well as a true man of God, adding that the seed of his love for God and His creation was already destined in him while practising his career as a traditionalist over the years.
Apostle Agbebo lauded Professor Torgbui Amuzu for allowing himself to be used by God to do wonders in His ministry, saying such a decision would not only be inimical to himself, his family, close associates, the Volta Region and Ghana as a whole but also to all traditionalists who still believed in their customs, traditions and believes.
Apostle Agbebo urged all Ministers of the Religion across the country to move from their pulpits into the rural areas in order to win more souls for Christ. According to him, that is the only way Christian leaders and pastors could change the narrative for the benefit of the present and future generations.

Prophet Paul Amuzu on his part described his prophetic journey into the Kingdom if God as very challenging, saying this became more revealing in the last four (4) years, accompanied by several encounters he had with God about himself, God's creation, peace and love for His people as well as His purpose for the universe and its occupants.
Prophet Amuzu recalled with nostalgia that in the last four months, one of such encounters he had with God was to the effect that all parts of the human body including the hands, legs, head, neck, eyes as well as ears amongst others were not only interrelated and dependent on one another for effective functioning but also played a holistic role to the glory of God. This, he explained was to the effect that, 'we must all be united as one people created in the image of God'. 'I also came face to face with God where he created human being from the spiritual realm from the soil and bequeathed it with oxygen to give meaning and life to it as we can see today', Prophet Amuzu revealed.
He disclosed that God also reminded him amongst several other revelations that one single person could make a difference in the lives of many thousands of people just as the Lord did in the case of Israel and her people in the Bible.

Prophet Amuzu was grateful to God as well as Apostle Paul Asare Agbebo and his team of pastors and evangelists for their love, support and encouragement in this journey to reach out to God.

According to him, he would embark on a lot of events including crusades to win more souls for Christ. He also expressed the hope that he would use his new found favour in the Lord to encourage many people including several traditionalists to accept Christ as their personal saviour.

A thanksgiving service in honour of Prophet Paul Amuzu took place on Sunday at the Living Word Teaching Ministry at Ashaiman Roman Down. Head Pastor of the church, Apostle Paul Asare Agbebo called on the youth to eschew all manner of negative behaviours including provocative dressing styles such as wearing mini skirts and multiple earings if they wanted to receive the blessings and salvation of Christ. He also called on men of God who always boasted on pulpits to their congregants about their riches for no apparent reasons to desist from such unGodly acts, saying such attitudes did not serve the church and its congregants any meaningful purpose.

Prophet Paul Amuzu was giving a rousing welcome by the church members who were also touched and motivated by Prophet Amuzu's  testimonies and experiences in the traditional and herbal healing space of the country over the years.

Before he became a born-again creation in God, Prophet Paul Amuzu had in the past undertaken several magical performances at the annual Hogbetsotso festival of the chiefs are people of Anlo at Anloga, the traditional capital. In a few of such performances, Professor Torgbui Amuzu commanded the Ghana and United States of America (USA) flags, poured water into a newspaper and also planted palmnut seedlings that germinated, grew into fruits and instantly harvested, all to the admiration of all and sundry. Professor Torgbui Amuzu who had the title, 'Professor' from these performances and his great works in general, had about two hundred (200) of such magical performances to his credit.

He also provided both spiritual and physical healing to thousands of people both from within and outside the country.

Professor Torgbui Amuzu had been a source of encouragement and inspiration not only to the youth but also to several chiefs, queen mothers and other traditional rulers who also believed in Torgbui's vision of youth and community development.

He had travelled extensively around the world to countries such as Togo, Benin, United Kingdom and the USA.

Prophet Paul Amuzu is expected to go through a mini-ordination ceremony on Sunday, 18th September, 2022 at the same church at 9am prompt.
