VOLTA: GHANA ANNUAL RICE FARMERS, FORUM ORGANIZED BY BP AGRILINE AFRICA LTD IN COLLABORATION WITH CALLI GHANA LTD - KETU NORTH DISTRICT

BP Agriline company limited a Ghanaian wholly owned company that is into agro processing and farmers support scheme in collaboration with Calli Ghana an agro chemicals and seeds distribution company limited has organised a day forum for rice farmers in Awalavi in the Ketu North District of the Volta Region.

The forum  aimed was to train , sensitise and educate over one hundred rice farmers in appropriate and proper agronomic practice and application of agrochemicals and fertilizers for a higher yield of their produces.

BP Agriline Company limited have been given this support to farmers this and every year before the start a new farming season .

The Managing director of BP Agriline company limited Hon Bright Demordzi who's an Agronomist and Former Member of Parliament for Ngleshie Amanfro and also contested for  Parliamentary primaries in Anlo constituency in the last Parliamentary primaries advised the rice growers on proper usage and safety application of fertilizers that will help the rice farmers. 

Mr Stephen the Volta Regional Representative from Calli Ghana company talked on the various agrochemicals and fertilizers that they have and it's usefulness to the farmers .

He cautioned farmers to always get their brands name right to differentiate it from the numerous agrochemicals in the market because theirs is the best.

The participants were glad and promised their readiness for proper usage of the chemicals for better yield .
