EACH OF US IS RELATED AND SPECIAL: We Should Act as Such!
JAMES DUNYO WRITES...✍🏾
Each of us is related. It is just a matter of how far back you trace your family tree. When we regress down memory lane, through our family genealogies and pedigrees, we won't regress to infinity till we realize that all of us are one and the same people. The great grandfather of my great grandmother could be the great granduncle of your great grandaunt.
We are all family, one family. Deep down, all of us have sheer blood in our veins, although individual tastes may vary. The blood that oozes from a slain murderer is same that runs through the veins of a pious churchman. Our bloods have same colour. Of course same protein hemoglobin makes all bloods red.
If we are all related, then all of us have royal blood. So? All of us must be treated as royals, as kings and queens, be we children or adults, males or females. The need for us to respect one another cannot be up for debate. We are special. So it is binding and incumbent on us, every time, to uphold the inviolability, dignity, and sanctity of human life.
In Anthropology, we say man exists as a unique and unrepeatable being, an "I" capable of self-understanding, self-possession, and self-determination. More so, man is single. You just cannot get a "carbon copy" of any individual anywhere in the heavens or on earth. You and I were thought of and chosen by God, from eternity. We are special. We should act as such. God bless!
