In a short statement, the founder of Atito Historical Research Group said that through their research and tour after the heavy downpour  in Atito on 25th May, 2020. They got to know that, anytime it rains in Atito, the  School Football park becomes flooded for for about three to four weeks, this blocks any sporting activity that the town or the school schedule to do. He requested that, all the stakeholders, Government, Citizens and All Old students of Atito Basic School Should come to their aid and support them to fill the Football Park to avoid future flooding which denies them the opportunity to be hosting school games and town gala's in the District.
In a interview with Mr Courage Ladeka, Mr Klu Ameyibor, and  some of the teachers, Atito was to host FEBRUARY 2020 ZONAL SPORTS F FESTIVAL which comprises KOME,SHIME, AGORTOE, WHITI-SROGBOE AND ANYANUI schools but, because the Football Park was flooded that was why the ZONAL FOOTBALL COMPETITION was moved to Kodzi.
