CONGRATULATIONS DIRECTOR OF GEM IS NAMED 2022 TIMOTHY BOWLED AFRICAN HUMAN RIGHTS AWARD
The Jacobs-Abbey Global Institute for leadership Studies has applauded an award to the Executive Director of Excellent Movement, Madam Juliana Ama Kplorfia today 6th July, 2022.
After receiving the award, She said the Movement which was in existence for the past 10 years would continue to impact on the lives of girls, especially those in deprived communities to have the belief that they could achieve their dreams if only they pursued them relentlessly.

Madam Juliana Ama Kplorfia, Founder and Executive Director, Girls Excellence Movement (GEM) has said that the Movement has interacted, inspired and mentored more 13,000 girls with different backgrounds from over 45 schools to aspire higher.
She said the Movement which was in existence for the past 10 years would continue to impact on the lives of girls, especially those in deprived communities to have the belief that they could achieve their dreams if only they pursued them relentlessly.
“It is fulfilling when we hear stories about girls passing their exams, in SHS and JHS and they tell us that since you came to that school, we got the inspiration to go higher and we feel happy and empowered,”.
Madam Kplorfia encouraged the girls to take full responsibility for the consequences of their choices and the feedback they got from those empowered gave the Movement the zeal to do more for others to uplift their morale to face concerns of life.
She said girls should not be destructed by the situation and surroundings they found themselves in but forge forward irrespective of their beginnings and urged them to have the will to sacrifice and let go some negative aspects of their lives and be determined to have a great future.
