THE “ANCESTORS WALK” SYMBOLIC JOURNEY AT HOGBETSOTSO 2022
29-year-old #Barnabas_Ahialey also known as Cbwoy Majik Multitalented from Dzodze, embarked on what he called the ‘Ancestors Walk’ in honour of our Anlo forefathers who also walked from Notsie to Anloga during their HOGBE exodus.
He walked the 50 KM journey in about 8 hours and was received with a heroes welcome in Anloga by the entire community. Children and the elderly alike all rushed in a frenzy to the streets to welcome him for his gesture in honoring the Ancestors and it was beautiful.
Ahiale, who is a Sculptor, Fashion Designer and Musician claims that he is a reincarnated soul and that his reason for walking the 50 KM journey from Dzodze to the Chiefs Palace in Anloga is to honour the Ancestors as well as bring a message of hope to the Chiefs and People of Anlo.
He was later acknowledged during the main Hogbetsotso Durbar where he met with the Awormefia Torgbui Sri III.
