The town of Notse is the cradle of the Ewe (Eʋe) people. Why? Because the Ewe (Eʋe) settled in Notse and developed a kingdom before they migrated to populate other regions.
Visiting Notse, you can see the remains of the city walls called Agbogbo. The walls were handmade out of clay.
Ewe (Eʋe) is the most represented ethnic group in Togo, and you also find them in Ghana, Benin and other parts of the world.
