MCE of Keta cuts Sod for the Construction of a 22-Metre Bridge at Agorvinu.

The Keta Municipal Assembly Boss, Hon. Godwin Edudzi Effah has cut the sod for the construction of a 22-metre concrete bridge project at Agorvinu. The old one which has been serving the people along that part of the Keta Lagoon for years is in a deplorable state and a disaster in waiting.

This project has become a pressing issue after the indigenes of the area made incessant calls to the authorities and the powers that be for help. Thanks to the One Million Dollar Per Constituency relief promised by President Akufo-Addo’s government, this problem would be a thing of the past. The construction is expected to be executed under the Coastal Development Authority( CODA).

According to the MCE, funding for the project has been sourced and all is set for the construction to start. Dignitaries present at the short ceremony were Dr. Benjamin Dzameshie, NPP’s parliamentary candidate for the Keta Constituency and other high profile representatives from the affected communities.

Checks conducted by Rymcitigh.com indicates that indigenes of the area and its adjoining communities are in ecstatic mood ahead of the commencement of this all important project which would save them from the inconveniences faced daily.
The MCE, bragged that when the project is finally constructed, economic activities will be boosted and the movement of goods and services will be made easier.

“The project will help boost the economic activities of the area and make it easy for residents in the Lawoshime Electoral Area to transport goods to the various markets”
the MCE posited.
