The people of AnloKome area are suffering from low mobile network in the area, here was the letter addressed to the MTN Ghama
20th August, 2019
The Chief Executive Officer
MTN Ghana.
Accra.
Dear Sir/Madam
APPEAL OR REQUEST FOR INSTALATION OF MTN TOWER POLE
On behalf of the chiefs of Anlo Kome towns,Council of Elders, Development Associations, the Atito Youth Organization,All Youth Associationsin Kome, and all the citizens of AnloKometowns, I write to register our displeasure about the MTN network connections in AnloKometowns.
The low network connection is vehemently affecting we the inhabitants of AnloKometowns in numerous ways but I will only touch on few of them;
Making and receiving calls within Anlo Kome towns is a big problem.
It is a Herculean task for MTN Mobile Money Merchants to transact businesses either ways.
File downloadsare a traveling menace as one has to travel out of the Kometownships to Anloga, Keta and other surroundings towns where the network is stable.
Kome schools find it very difficult to both teach and make basic searches on the internet.
Businesses come and go because of the network problem, particularly the MTN.
The above deficiencies and others retard the progress and development of the Anlo Kome areas in this 21st century where life is run (lived) through, and by information technology.
Anlo Kome is located in the Anloga District Assembly in the Volta Region of the Republic of Ghana. The area is made up of Atito, Latame, Alakple, Deta, Kodzi and Fiaxor. According to the 2010 population census, Atito had 1010, Alakple had 1005, Kodzi had 999, Latame had 500, Deta had 350 and Fiaxor had 400 populations respectively.
The citizenry of the above mentioned have decided to stop patronizing the MTN service should this appeal not granted immediate attention. We however suggest with this appeal to your company to kindly rescue the situation by mounting one or two network posts at Atito or one of the Kome towns. Land is readily available for this and any other projects your organization may deem fit to benefit us both.
We will be very grateful if our request would be taken into account with no delay. We are counting on your usual cooperation and continuous patronage.
Thank you.
Faithfully,
